The BENEFIT (Buildings Energy Efficiency Frontiers & Innovation Technologies) program offers completely FREE comprehensive training on Cold-Climate Air-Source Heat Pumps (ccASHPs) to build the skilled workforce needed for America's energy efficient future.
ICAST (International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology) is implementing the BENEFIT project with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) to train the next generation of heat pump HVAC technicians. This program seeks to connect trained employees and ready-to-hire employers through partnerships with manufacturers, workforce and HVAC associations, and other industry experts and relevant stakeholders.
